D.O.A. Hockey Card.

The crossover between Canadian punk rock and hockey culture is legendary, and D.O.A. absolutely leaned into it harder than almost anyone. Stories about them demolishing rival bands in hockey games — including combined lineups featuring Bad Religion and SNFU — have become part of punk folklore.

The hockey-card angle with D.O.A., SNFU, and The Hanson Brothers is exactly the kind of ultra-niche Canadian punk memorabilia collectors love — especially when they are as rare as these. The Hanson Brothers themselves built an entire identity around hockey culture, inspired by the Hanson brothers characters from the cult hockey movie Slap Shot. Their whole “puck rock” aesthetic became a defining subculture within Canadian punk.
